Cheap Single Pushchair single pushchair with buggy board Pushchairs

If you're on a tight budget and don't want a stroller that can double as car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels solid in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is thanks to its super nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into an aeroplane's overhead luggage. This latest version features independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to 'perfectly traverse all terrains and types'.

The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6months of colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair with a subtle, elegant aesthetic. The base frame weighs less than a kilogram and is so lightweight that it is able to be lifted from the box with just one hand.

It's also easy to attach or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors - the hood, for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 with reassuring clicks and is machine washable at 30 degrees to help deter staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram right from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller from 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents looking for a versatile stroller. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller into an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then choose the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate two or more children between 6 months to 5 years old. It has a huge storage basket that can accommodate all your needs while on the go.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that rotate from front to back, providing ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or wide as some wagons, so it may not be suitable for long-distance excursions or for napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and does not secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store into a car trunk. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and a parent cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than most of the other cheap single buggy strollers we test, but it's not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us less than 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a standard manual. All of the components required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It can be used from birth until 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be converted easily with just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. This narrow pushchair handled every day bumps and doors effortlessly.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position, or they can swivel. This is useful in rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along the stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we tried, but the wheels are rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It maneuvers expertly across different kinds of terrain, and it's easy to carry even with two kids and shopping bags.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be lowered to reveal the UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it does have an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you need a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of a lot of parents when it first debuted. It is an aluminium-framed stroller which can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It comes with a variety of distinctive features like the possibility of flipping the seat from parent to the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension that takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets with ease.

It folds in just four steps and automatically locks without fuss. It can also be folded and repositioned for easy transport down the stairs or in the car's boot. The travel system comes offered with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are simple to use using a single buggy with buggy board action, colour coded and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single stroller pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and comes with great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also super lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined in many positions and comes with a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or can be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents that like to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can buy for your child. It also has great safety features, like a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety straps. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models that are an innovative twist.

The seat is well-padded and offers a large area to sit in, but the seat's depth is lower than other joggers we've tried (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is covered with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats as it comes, but you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters to most seats from brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and is available in multiple languages.
